You need a team for safe Positive Handling and here is why

In this rough-cut video-clip from a recent training course, our Director of Training expert witness Gerard O’Dea explains why we don’t recommend that staff carry out safe positive handling restraint interventions (defined as immobilising a child) by themselves.   There are several reasons why the proper assistance should be sought, to ensure that any action taken is both safe and successful.
